Bathroom is not just a place for personal hygiene but also aplace to relax the mind and the body. Whirlpool tubs, bodysprays are some of the luxuries of a modern bathroom. People whodon't have ample time to visit a spa frequently are turningtheir bathroom into a personal mini spa.

Using colors is the most inexpensive and effective way toenliven a bathroom. Painting even a single wall in some vibrantcolor can make your bathroom look younger and cheerful.

Never mind if you have a small bathroom. You can make it lookbigger by installing large mirrors on the wall. Also use slidingdoors to save space. Have shower cubicles in place of bathtubs. All this will save enough space.

Faucets are also an important part of the bathroom. Don't optfor cheap faucets. They may look tempting but in the long run, they will prove to be expensive, as they will have to bereplaced pretty soon. See that your faucet has anti-scaldfeature, as this will prove to be beneficial with kidsaround.

Most modern and contemporary bathrooms have floor-heatingsystems. It's a luxury you can't afford to miss. Wouldn't youwant to place your feet on a welcomingly warm and toasty floorafter having a nice bath. Electric floor heating system can beinstalled under most type of tiles like ceramic, stone, graniteetc. This system is not only affordable but also safe.

Consider flowering plants in the window and framed familyphotographs on the wall. How do you like the idea? Wouldn't itmake the

bathroom cozy and cheerful?

Since most of the remodeling budget, around 31%, goes in bathroomcabinets, they are also worth considering. There are twotypes of cabinets- framed and frameless. Framed cabinets are thepopular cabinets in America. They are also called standardcabinets. Frameless cabinets are cheaper because they use lessmaterial. They also look more stylish. Frameless cabinets occupylesser area than framed ones. As far as installation isconcerned framed cabinets are easier to install.
